A Christmas Adventure Across Seven Continents: Santa’s Great Big Christmas Trip!

A Christmas adventure across seven continents starts with a sleigh, a glowing red nose, and a little curiosity about the world. Santa’s Great Big Christmas Trip! is an illustrated children’s storybook that follows Santa and Rudolph from the North Pole on a journey filled with gifts, discoveries, and Christmas cheer.

I created this little book with a simple idea: story time can be a chance to enjoy a magical adventure and discover something new together.

Designed for children aged 3-7, the English-language PDF brings that idea to life through colorful illustrations and short, gentle rhymes.

A Familiar Christmas Story with a World to Discover

Santa has a busy night ahead of him. Luckily, Rudolph is ready to lead the way.

Their journey takes them across all seven continents: North America, South America, Antarctica, Africa, Australia, Asia, and Europe.

Along the way, young readers encounter different landscapes, animals, and famous places. There are snowy towns, a rainforest, sandy scenery, and even a few curious penguins.

Each stop offers a small glimpse of a much bigger world. The story introduces the names of the continents while giving children something to notice, point to, or ask about.

Christmas Doesn’t Look the Same Everywhere

Snowy rooftops and twinkling lights are part of Santa’s journey, but there is sunshine along the way, too.

That contrast was something I wanted to include. For a child who associates Christmas with winter coats and snow, the idea of celebrating near a sunny beach can start a lovely conversation.

What would Santa wear somewhere warm? Which animals might he meet? Would Rudolph enjoy landing on sand?

A Christmas adventure across seven continents leaves plenty of room for those questions. You can follow the story at your child’s pace, pausing whenever a picture catches their attention.

A Little Peek Inside the Book

The first continent on Santa’s route is North America, where he flies over snowy towns and waves to the Statue of Liberty.

It’s a cheerful introduction to the journey: familiar Christmas excitement with a real place to discover.

From there, the scenery changes as Santa and Rudolph continue around the world. I’ll leave the rest of their stops for you and your little explorer to enjoy together.

Make Story Time a Little More Interactive

You don’t need to prepare a lesson to enjoy the book. A few simple questions can turn reading together into a conversation:

  • What can you spot in this picture?
  • Does this place look warm or cold?
  • Which animal would you like to meet?
  • Where would you ask Santa to take you?

If you have a globe or a world map nearby, you can also look for each continent as it appears in the story.

Children may want to talk about every detail or simply listen and enjoy the pictures. Both are lovely ways to share a quiet Christmas moment.

A little map-reading practice for Santa and Rudolph. Where would your little explorer like to go?
